Sports for Development Online Life Skills Programme

Sports for Development (S4D) is a life skills programme centered on the utilization of sports and play-based activities as efficient programming instruments to help achieve goals in child safety, health, gender equality, and leadership through the remote delivery of a thorough life skills program.

This S4D programme, which is supported by UNICEF and is a component of the Department of Basic Education’s (DBE) Care and Support for Teaching and Learning (CSTL) initiative, aims to increase access, retention, completion, and academic achievement by encouraging the development of comprehensive skills and psychosocial support initiatives, fostering partnerships with parents, students, and communities, as well as the civil society and private sector at the school level, and enhancing the environment for health and safety.
