School Related-Gender Based Violence Prevention through Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights Education (SR-GBV through SRHR)

GIZ PfP in collaboration with Agape Youth Movement and the Department of Basic Education implements the school-based SRGBV prevention flagship with the aim of empowering learners on the evidence-based prevention programmes addressing harmful social norms including toxic masculinities.

This programme focus on working with learner leaders through the Representative Council of Learners to become agents of change to create awareness on school-related gender based violence, empower learners on prevention strategies, engage them on sexual reproductive heath and rights, and mobilize whole school communities to support learner access to interventions and SRHR services.
